Ascarus is a herbal compound that has the potential to mimic conventional diabetes drugs. The materials have been enhanced with the help of contemporary technologies. It includes six plants that work in synergy. This was proved by dividing the compound in two. A group of 10 patients was treated in one part of the compound and the other in another. Later the groups were united. The results showed an impressive increase in the effectiveness of all the ingredients together. The initial trial was with type 2 diabetics with high sugar values ​​(hemoglobin is glycated at around 9%). After treatment in conventional medicine did not help to reduce sugar levels, a proposal for a clinical trial was submitted to the high committee of Maccabi doctors, headed by the late Prof. Bracha Ramot and Prof. Feiner, who was dean of the Tel Aviv School of Medicine. A total of 119 patients were treated in the trial and the results are presented in the clinical study.

clinical research

The course of research and clinical trial

In the clinical trial, experts in the field of diabetes examined the ascarx compound in 119 types 2 diabetics. The aim was to examine the compound's effectiveness in balancing blood glucose values, glycated hemoglobin, and blood lipids (cholesterol and triglycerides).
103 type 2 diabetics completed 12 weeks of treatment and follow-up. Findings:

  • Decreased mean blood glucose levels from 211 mg to 133 mg (37%)
  • Diabetic hemoglobin decreased from 9.0% to 7.1% (22%)
  • The average decrease in total cholesterol to 185 mg (13%)
  • Triglycerides decreased to 160 mg (40%)

Of the 13 patients treated at the start of the insulin trial, 5 stopped injecting and were treated orally, the remaining 8 reduced to 30% the dose of insulin injected.
