Psyllium is a soluble fiber extracted from the Plantago plant. The ability of psyllium husk fibers to absorb liquids up to 25 times their volume.
Psyllium absorbs fluid in the intestine and thus a viscous fluid is formed which increases the volume of the intestinal contents, causes a gentle stimulation of the intestine, increases the motility of the intestinal muscles and thus shortens the duration of food passage in the intestine.
Ingredients: Psyllium husks (Plantago Ovata).
Dietary fiber is not digestible, therefore this product has no caloric effect.
Directions: Mix 2 teaspoons of psyllium with at least 1-2 cups full of water or juice and drink immediately.
Drink a large amount of water while consuming the product.
The presence of dietary fiber can impair the absorption of drugs, minerals, vitamins and other nutrients, so it is advisable to separate taking psyllium supplements from medications or supplements that contain these components.
